this thing is fast i play Battlefield bad company 2 everything on the highest and 2 aa and i get over 32-40 fps.on wow 33+ constant with everything on MAX, Crysis 2 i get 31-40fps with dx11 path 1.9 with high resolution textures and and objects, game effect and water on ultra the rest on very high and u get ur 30+ fps and with tessellation of dx11 it looks even better than it did on my asus g51. then only game i have that falls below 30 fps with everything on max and 2 aa is dragon age 2 when there is like 10 or more enemies but it doesnt go below 24 fos

My review has a fair amount of comparisons to Origins, but as the second installment, I think it needs no explanation. I by no means am looking for an Origins continuation, but seeing as how the story is so closely connected to that of Origins, I can really see how DAII might have set itself up for that expectation.

Pros: Easy install and configuration. Updated BIOS and had no problem unlocking 4th core of Phenom II X3 720. Excellent MB for the money.....

Pros: Like other reviewers have said, this card rocks even at the highest settings. Keeps my Phenom X4 and my Zalman fan very quiet because the GPU is doing most of the work. Great price too, especially if the rebate actually comes through.

Other Thoughts: For playing Dragon Age at the highest settings I had a Radeon X1950 which is a good card but I could tell my Phenom x4 CPU was working overtime because the Zalman fan was almost screaming at times. Now it just whispers along....

The combat is certainly more savage and fun to watch, but when you have to press a button for every single attack, it gets to the point where you can't enjoy it anymore. The original game play let you use strategy and then watch the results of your choices play out. This new system is almost too fast and hectic to be appreciated. They made a similar choice with the path they took after the original KOTOR, which I also loved and still play. When they moved on to Jade Empire they went with the button masher scheme. I was so thrilled when the first DA came out because they switched back to a truly great system, but now they have switched yet again.....
